= Remarkable picture book: each right page with the silhouettes of animals and the opposite page with the names of the animals in type and lay-out matching these silhouettes.

= Nice picture-book on two naughty boys who sneak into a bakery and are baked as loaves of bread in the end. Very rare, not in Rühle.
- Two lvs. stained; one leaf repaired; hinges strengthened. Covers browned/ stained; corners worn.
= Rühle 1036f, listing the first edition of this adaptation (Leyden, Sythoff, 1858) under G.Th. Drobisch, Der Tolpatsch, oder Kinder, nehmt ein Beispiel dran! (...): "Das einzig bekannte Exemplar ist unvollständig (S.9-22). Doch dürfte sich die Ausgabe inhaltlich wohl nach der früheren deutschen Version richten. Die einzelnen Kapital weisen jedoch im Gegensatz zu allen andsersprachigen Ausgaben keine Einzel-Überschriften auf.(...)"; Lust en Leering p.306, p.441 and p.216: "In veertien tafereelen worden hier de stommiteiten van Daniel vertoond, meer ter lering dan tot vermaak (...)".
