= It is possible to hang the picture in two ways. The head of the cat and dog are positioned as genitals of the woman and man respectively.

- Some (sl.) foxing (4 drawings yellowed/ more heavily foxed). One leaf dam. by fire in lower blank corner; a few mounts w. pinhole in outer blank margin.
= A unique series of striking caricatures of visitors, bathers and locals of the seaside resort Zandvoort, often with humorous captions. The drawings were meant for a sales exhibition at the Haarlem art gallery "Reeker" in the summer of 1932, but were all sold together to the collector B.J.V. van Hees (1873-1953) a few hours before the opening of the exhibition. Part of the drawings were included in a Herman Moerkerk exhibition at the Museum Slager, 's-Hertogenbosch, in 1979. Provenance: by descent to the present owner. SEE ILLUSTRATIONS PLATE XVIII.
- Some inevitable vague (handling) creases/ folds and a few very sm. marginal tears (strengthened on verso).
= Proof of a print published w. letterpress caption in Het Overzicht, no.22-23-24 (1925). With vague stamp "lino-snee" in outer right blank corner; verso w. stamp "De Distel/ Em. Maeyens/ Antwerpen". SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XVII.
- Some dam. from varnish sticking to an opposite leaf.
WITH on verso a pencil sketch of a male and female ballet dance, with the stamp of "Rudolf Möller November Gruppe" in lower right corner.
- One tin cap loose from paper, but easily to reattach again.
= One of 40 numb. DELUXE COPIES, also w. an added ORIGINAL DRAWING by HERBERT KOLLER, (Composition with a man in a coffin) (watercolour and col. ink, 25,1x13,8 cm., signed "Koller 87" in black ink).
- Some small defects along edges. = Nice drawing, possibly a design for stained glass.
