The second part of the present work is entitled "Eenige remedien die aengaen de chirurgie of uytwendige gebreken des lichaems" and the third part "Clarius et majus lumen pharmacopaeorum. Dat is: klaerder en meerder licht der apothekers."

As is stated in the preface, the aim of the work was to use photography to improve the study of dermatology and to help doctors and students in recognizing the various types of skin diseases.
