- Some sl. foxing/ thumbing; occas. cut on/ just outside the borderline/ trifle frayed.
= The Amsterdam based publisher Cornelis Visscher started publishing large engravings of biblical scenes from ±1630, so-called "royaalbijbelprenten". After his death, his heirs continued the production. The engravings were sold separately and were combined in the "Royaalbijbel".
